At House of Hope Piedmont, we couldn’t do what we do without our great team. Every member of our team is dedicated to our mission and committed to helping struggling teenage girls and their families with Christ-centered principles and prayer ministry. Below, you will find a little bit more information about the people who are on our team and help us provide hope and healing here in the Mocksville, North Carolina area. Lloyd McCullar
Board Member, HOHP
Worship/Students Pastor, Redland Church, IPHC, Advance, NC
Interests/Hobbies: “Sports, Antique Stores, Working outdoors.”
Fun Fact: “Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies are my weakness.”
What makes House of Hope Special? “That there is a place of hope. It would have been so easy to just give up along the way before ever seeing the first young lady have an opportunity to experience what HOHP has to offer. But Bob and Diana never gave up hope that it would come to fruition. Grateful for the testimony of faithful perseverance.
I have also had the privilege to be a part of seeing some of the residents of HOHP experience life change and connection as a part of our Redland Students community that I oversee! So, I have seen first hand some of the growth of these young ladies!”

Dr. William Daniel Gamble
Board Member, HOHP
Interests/Hobbies: “I am a Pastor, JV coach for Davie High School, and Head Coach for North Davie Middle. I am becoming an aspiring ‘professional student’ with an MA in Leadership, an MA in Theology, and a PhD in Bible Exposition. I have been married 19 years, and we are expecting our 5th child—a daughter—in October.
Fun Fact: “I love Star Trek (the old stuff), writing, and producing Christian Theatrical Productions.”
What makes House of Hope special to you? “One of the elements of my church’s mission statement is to turn the hearts of families back to each other (Mal 4:6). Restoring the family is a critical need in our day for both the future of the Church and our nation.

Dawn McCullough
Board Member, HOHP
Interest /Hobbies: “Spending time and traveling with my family! I also enjoy cooking and watching college football and basketball….GO PACK!”
Fun Fact: “I met my husband when we were in the fourth grade and we’ve been married for thirty years!”
What makes House of Hope special? “As a mother of two daughters, I believe in the mission of House of Hope! I want to see families healed and reunited! I’ve also known founders, Bob & Diana, since they had my girls in Sunday School! I know the years of prayer and work they have put into growing this ministry!”

Trent Howerton
Board Member, HOHP
Interests/Hobbies: “I try to focus on family time. Life keeps us busy so it’s important to remain focused on what’s most important, family! My hobby would be deer hunting. I really enjoy going back to my parent’s home for a few weeks each year hunting with my Dad.”
Fun Fact: “Currently pursuing an EMT certification.”
What makes House of Hope special? “What makes House of Hope special to me is their unwavering commitment to Christ-centered healing. They guide these young girls through their pain and healing using scripture, prayer, and the truth of God’s Word—showing the girls their worth through His love. It’s deeply moving to see a ministry full of compassionate loving people so devoted to restoring lives through faith.”

Keyasha Roberson
Learning Center Supervisor
Interests/Hobbies: “Reading, drawing and watching hockey.”
Fun Fact: “I’m going back to school to become a therapist.”
What makes House of Hope special? “House of Hope gives me the opportunity to develop relationships with each of our girls, the opportunity to love them, and watch them grow. It’s a privilege to be a part of it all.”

Hailey Gamble

Interests/Hobbies: “Music/Piano, Creative Writing”
Fun Fact: “I know some sign language and use that skill to lead church drama performances with youth!”
What makes House of Hope special? “House of Hope is a place filled with love, community, strength, and, of course, hope! I thank God for the incredible opportunity and blessing to share truth and encouragement with these young girls. House of Hope is truly a remarkable ministry that has already accomplished, and will continue to accomplish, amazing things. This ministry holds a very special place in my heart, and I am so blessed to be a part of it!”

Barney: “I am a Shih-Tzu and I love to do my own thing.”
Krissy: “I am a Terrier/Chihuahua mix and I sleep alot! Koda: “I am a Chihuahua and I love to play hide and seek.”

Barney: “I’m quiet and rarely ever bark!”
Krissy: “I am the youngest.”
Koda: “I was rescued by Bob and Diana, founders of HOH.”
What makes House of Hope special? “All of the girls at HOH become our best friends. We get to provide comfort during hard times, and love them unconditionally!

Ann Schambach
Overnight House Parent
Interests/Hobbies: “Travel, read, swim, teach, and take care of pets.”
Fun Fact: “I almost made the Olympic swimming team and was the state champion in swimming in high school.”
What makes House of Hope special? “I like meeting all the new girls and I like helping them learn more about Jesus. HOHP found me, rather than me finding them.”

Bob Bailey
Founder, House Parent, & Interim Executive Director
Interests/Hobbies: “Running, anything outdoors, and reading.”
Fun Fact: “Once, I got chased by a buffalo.”
What makes House of Hope special? “HOH has given me the opportunity to serve the Lord by helping teens and their families.”

Kristin Biscardi
House Parent, Community Outreach Liaison
Interests/Hobbies: “Reading, learning & studying, spending time outdoors, playing with my puppy, Fionna, volunteering for Christian ministries and community programs.”
Fun Fact: “I have two sons, ages 15 and 12, and we recently moved to North Carolina from New York!”
What makes House of Hope special? “With the ongoing rise in behavioral health concerns, teenagers face more challeneges today than ever before. House of Hope is a place where girls can feel safe, loved, and be empowered to make positive changes in their lives. Most importantly, HOH helps everyone involved know that we have a loving, wonderful God.”

Sara Brooks

Interests/Hobbies: “Dog grooming, swimming, spending time with family.”
