We are different from other Christian rehab centers in a few ways.
When teen girls in Charlotte, North Carolina are struggling and in need of recovery, they can turn to House of Hope Piedmont and our faith-based recovery program. At our residential treatment center, we help girls ages 13 to 17 to heal in a Christ-centered, family-oriented, and supportive environment. Through counseling, education, and community building, they are able to gain the insights and skills required to make choices that will benefit their lives moving forward.
We aren’t like other Christian rehab centers out there for a couple of reasons. Mainly, the family-oriented aspect of our program is essential to us. Not only are parents required to visit their daughter 1 to 4 times a week, depending on which phase of our program their daughter is in, but they also need to attend weekly church services while their daughter is living at our center and participate in individual counseling, parenting classes, and special events we are hosting. Many Christian rehab centers, and other treatment centers in general, don’t place this much emphasis on family support, but we want to ensure family involvement to help restore families as a whole.
We also are not like some Christian rehab centers because we are unable to accept insurance. However, we don’t turn anyone away for not being able to meet financial requirements. We work with these families to find alternatives for the funds. It is also why we are very grateful for our generous donors who make our program possible.
